Five Stunning Bungee Jumping Locations

Locations

Scenery does not make a jump safe. It does decide whether you remember the freefall or only the queue. Here are five commercial sites where the setting does real work—and the operator is nameable.

1. Victoria Falls Bridge

Shearwater runs bungy and bridge products above the Zambezi and Batoka Gorge between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Passport for bridge access. Spray, gorge, and noise do more than pure height. Build time for border logistics and heat.[1]

2. Bloukrans Bridge, South Africa

216 m into the Bloukrans River gorge with Face Adrenalin. Africa's highest bridge, published weight 35–150 kg, age 14+. The walk out on the arch is half the scare. Wind and thunderstorms cancel.[2]

3. Kawarau Bridge, Queenstown

43 m at the commercial home of bungy. Turquoise river, practiced crew, free spectators, optional water touch when the river allows. Best "stunning + sane first jump" pairing for many travelers.[3]

4. Macau Tower

233 m building bungy with harbor-city views. Highest commercial building bungy facility per Skypark. Guide-cable system, strict weather holds. Urban stunning, not wilderness.[4]

5. The Last Resort, Bhote Koshi, Nepal

~160 m tropical gorge bridge with a wild river below. Day trip hours from Kathmandu. Scenery is jungle walls and whitewater, not a postcard city. Road day is part of the experience.[5]

Skip the old list fillers that are event-only or unconfirmed (for example, treating Royal Gorge as a daily bungy ticket). If it is not a live commercial product, it is not on this list.[6]

Bottom line: five settings, five real operators. Pick for scenery plus process—not for a recycled ranking that invents a sixth "secret" height.
