A single bungee jump at an established commercial site costs roughly US$90 to US$230 in most of the world, as of October 2026. The cheapest reputable jumps are in India and Nepal, at under US$110. The most expensive are the record heights: the 233 m jump at Macau Tower costs MOP 3,088 (about US$382) and the 220 m GoldenEye jump at Switzerland's Verzasca Dam costs CHF 255 (about US$309). The table below lists current prices at well-known sites, with what you get for the money.
Bungee jumping prices at notable sites
Prices are the operator's own published adult rate for one jump, checked on October 26, 2026. US dollar figures are approximate conversions at that day's rates [1] and are for comparison only; you will pay in the local currency, and prices change.

"Not stated" means the operator's price page did not give a height. Heights for the 216 m, 220 m and 233 m jumps come from the operators; the Macau figure is a Guinness record for the highest commercial bungy from a building [14].
Is the Las Vegas SkyJump a bungee jump?
Not quite, but it comes up in most "how much is bungee jumping" searches. SkyJump at The STRAT is a controlled descent from the 108th floor, 855 feet above the Strip: jumpers are attached to a cable on a descender machine, with guide wires keeping them on course, rather than to an elastic cord. It costs $139.99 Monday to Thursday and $169.99 Friday to Sunday; packages with photos or wrist-camera video cost $149.99 to $204.99 [15].
Why bungee prices vary so much
The table shows a spread of almost eight to one between the cheapest and the dearest jump. A few things explain most of it.
- Height and fame. The record-holding sites charge the most. Macau, Verzasca and the Nevis are all among the highest jumps you can book, and all cost well over US$200.
- Where the jump is. The three cheapest sites in the table are in India, Nepal and South Africa, where everyday prices are generally lower than in New Zealand, Switzerland or Macau. Exchange rates matter too: a jump priced in rand or rupees can look cheap or expensive depending on the rate on the day you pay.
- What is bundled in. AJ Hackett includes photos and video and a T-shirt when you book direct [10]; Macau includes a T-shirt and certificate but sells photos and video separately [14]; Jumpin Heights builds video and tax into its ₹4,500 rate [2]. Compare like with like before deciding one site is cheaper.
- Getting there. Some jumps need transport or a hike. The Last Resort's day trip is a four-hour bus ride from Kathmandu [4], and Bungee America's bridge is a 5-mile hike each way, about two hours at a brisk pace [7].
Extra costs to budget for
The headline price is not always the whole bill. These are the add-ons that operators themselves list:
| Extra | Example |
|---|---|
| Photos and video | Extra at Macau [14] and at the STRAT ($149.99-$204.99 packages including the jump) [15]; included at AJ Hackett when booked direct [10] |
| Spectators | $20 at Bungee America, non-refundable but applied toward a package if the spectator decides to jump [7]; ₹100 entry for companions at Jumpin Heights [2] |
| Late registration | $20 on top of the package price at Bungee America [7] |
| Overnight stays | $39 at The Last Resort with dinner, breakfast and lunch [4]; $300 per person for Bungee America's glamping campout package [7] |
| Transport | Included in The Last Resort's day trip from Thamel [4]; free from the town office to the jump zone at Jumpin Heights [2] |
How to pay less
Do a second jump on the same day
The second jump is almost always much cheaper than the first. Bungee America charges $30 for each extra jump booked online after the first $150 [7]. At The Last Resort an extra bungy or swing is US$55 [3], and a same-day re-jump at the STRAT is $59.99 [15]. WildPlay in Nanaimo, Canada, gives 50% off a second bungy jump for the same jumper [16].
Use youth, student and repeat rates
The Verzasca jump costs CHF 195 instead of CHF 255 for anyone up to 19 and for full-time students and apprentices [13]. AJ Hackett offers child rates on most activities and a 20% repeat-customer discount on any later single activity once you have done one with them [9].
Book combos, groups and local deals
AJ Hackett applies combo discounts when you book two or more activities [9], and Verzasca discounts groups from three people [13]. The STRAT charges Nevada residents and its own hotel guests $99.99, and runs a $99 happy hour from 2 to 3 pm Monday to Thursday [15]. UK Bungee Club regularly discounts gift vouchers: in late October 2026 its 160 ft classic voucher was £75, down from £90 [8].
Cheap is fine; unlicensed is not
A low price on its own is not a warning sign. The cheapest jumps in the table are run by long-established operators in countries where costs are lower. The risk is an operator who is cheap because it skips licensing, inspections or trained staff. Most of the serious accidents covered in our bungee jumping accidents and death rate guide happened at unlicensed or improvised operations. Check the operator using our guide to choosing a reputable bungee operator, and confirm you fit the weight and age limits before you pay for travel.
